Reading, Reviewing Women’s Non-Fiction

As a challenge and an experiment I’m reading only women’s non-fiction this Spring.

We’ll be reviewing all these titles in the run up to International Women’s Day 2020 on Sunday, March 8, 2020: Hope in the Dark, Rebecca Solnit (Canongate), Your Silence Will Not Protect You, Audre Lord (Silver Press), It’s Not About the Burqa, Edited by Mariam Khan (Picador), A Scots Dictionary of Nature, Amanda Thomson (Saraband), For a Left Populism, Chantal Mouffe (Verso), Outlaw Culture, bell hooks (Routledge), Wayward Lives, Beautiful Experiments, Saidiya Hartman (Serpents Tail), The Living Mountain, Nan Shepherd (Canongate), Hostile Environment, Maya Goodfellow (Verso), Me and White Supremacy, Layla Saad (Sourcebooks).

All available from Lighthouse Books.

If there’s other titles you’d recommend, let us know. If you’d like to review one of these books, let us know.
