For all of the talk of “we’re all in this together” and “this is no time to be political”, we think the opposite is true. While the crisis reframes everything and puts minor feuds in context, the reality is the situation is deeply political and the need for a functioning alternative media has never been more obvious.

Here in the States, I’m waiting for the much-anticipated stimulus check–no idea when it will finally reach people like me who live on Social Security. When it arrives, I’ll mail you a check. I greatly value Bella, wish I could use your online payment setups, but they are understandably tied to the pound. A check can always be negotiated by a bank, regardless of currency.
