Saturday Night at The Howff with Glasvegas, Teenage Fanclub & Rachel Jack

howff /haʊf/. A favourite meeting place or haunt, especially a pub.

The Howff is Bella’s Boozer, your virtual lounge for the lockdown. Every week we bring you new releases and recommendations for your listening pleasure. This week we bring you tracks from Teenage Fanclub, Glasvegas and Rachel Jack.

Aberdeen’s Rachel Jack released her new EP this week, Magazine Girls is a poppier sound to her previous work,  Working this time with Dunt (Stanley Odd, Solareye, SHEARS). You can find out more about Rachel and support her work HERE

Glasvegas‘ new single Shake The Cage (fir Theo) is out this weekend ahead of the new album Godspeed. Its a driven, electronic spoken word piece which, we believe is the closing credits song for Alan McGee‘s film Creation Stories. Pre-order the album HERE

Teenage Fanclub are back with a belter of a single that showcases them out their bittersweet, melodic harmonic best. The Sun Wont Shine On Me is the fourth single to be taken from the forthcoming album endless arcade (released on 30 April)
