Saturday Night At The Howff with Gunke, Minerva Wakes and Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5

howff /haʊf/. A favourite meeting place or haunt, especially a pub.

The Howff is Bella’s Boozer, your virtual lounge for the lockdown. Every week we bring you new releases and recommendations for your listening pleasure. This week we bring you tracks from Gunke, Minerva Wakes and the return of Howff favourites Colonel Mustard and the Dijon 5.

Our favourite genre-hopping joysters Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5 are back with a cracking dance track for the Howff, This Is Your House is an homage to the Arches, featuring Mary Kiani and Dopseick Fly’s Ant Thomaz. It’s the latest featured single from the album The Difficult Number 2, out next week with a live streamed launch performance at The Barrowlands Ballroom on May 1st

Minerva Wakes trippy, psychedelic album Mirrored Moon was released last week. Another belter from Traffic Cone Records, its one to get lost in. Bella bring you the second track on the album, the dreamy Come On. Here more and buy the album HERE

‘Football’ is the raw, explosive second single from Glasgow based solo artist Gunke. Its a cracking track, punky anthem against isolation and social anxiety, you can find more of their work HERE
