Rob Brown

Rob Brown is a former senior newspaper editor and media academic – in Edinburgh, London and Dublin – who has been committed to a radical form of Scottish independence since he signed up as a student to GUSNA (Glasgow University Scottish Nationalist Association). In 2006 he edited a provocative collection of essays titled Nation in a State: Independent Perspectives on Scottish Independence. He also delivered the prestigious Donaldson Lecture at the SNP’s conference that year. Now firmly back in Scotland again, after a decade away, he is fully determined to play an active and outspoken role in the run up to IndyRef2.
