I don’t know whether

I don’t know whether.

To laugh or cry into my whisky tonight?

On the one hand, that would dilute it,

while the other could cause

inadvertent inhalation

and possibly choking.

But one way or another, I need it.

The human world is so

benighted,

and it isn’t even six yet.

Whiskey, before six?! You’ll be completely benighted yourself by nine. Take care, keep writing.
