Alison Strange is a proud ecologist with a PhD in Landscape Ecology focusing on animal movement and anything that might be a barrier. She has worked in habitat restoration for almost 30 years. She has said: “My husband and I moved to the Highlands 13 years ago and we now run a small croft selling fleece and yarns spun from our own sheep. We are both passionate about traditional crafts, fairness and equality in society and strongly believe in an independent Scotland.”
