Christopher Harvie was SNP Regional MSP for Fife/Central Scotland 2007-11 is still at 74 Professor of British Studies, in Room 137 of Tuebingen Uni’s Bert-Brecht-Bau, Wilhelmstrasse 50, D-72074 (tel. 0049 7071 297114) offering four two-weekend compact seminars a year. His current wintersemester themes are ‘Railways and their Revival’, and ‘Politics and Gender’. Since March he has been a German citizen; his Bundesverdienstkreuz (2012) was awarded for organising the July Freudenstadt Colloquia since 1991 with the late Paddy Bort and Stefan Buetter.
