Cassie Smith-Christmas is currently a Marie-Skłodowska Curie Action Fellow at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Her previous research on Gaelic includes numerous articles as well as the books Family Language Policy: Maintaining an Endangered Language in the Home and Gaelic in Contemporary Scotland: The Revitalisation of an Endangered Language (co-edited with Marsaili MacLeod).
