Originally from the Isle of Man, Gille-chrìost is a researcher and language activist who has been involved in grassroots activism in the Manx, Scottish Gaelic and Welsh contexts. He lived in Scotland for most of the past decade, and is currently based in a Swedish-speaking area of Finland. He is a member of the Gaelic campaign group Misneachd.
