Leonie Charlton lives in Glen Lonan, Argyll. She writes poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction. Her first book Marram – a travel memoir – will be published by Sandstone Press in March 2020. More of her work can be seen at www.leoniecharlton.co.uk. She has been running from politics all her life – to wild places, ponies, forests. Now she sees that politics are inseparable from the wild places, the ponies, the forests.
