Nairuti Shastry [she/her(s)] is an educator, strategist, and engaged scholar working toward racial and economic justice that transcends organizational, cultural, and political borders. As a QWoC and an immigrant, the nuances of movement, belonging, and social change have been both a participatory experience and a research question for Nairuti.
Drawing on the strength and resilience born out of these intersecting identities and professional experience spanning several continents, Nairuti leverages Freirean pedagogy and theories of postcolonial racial constructivism, Diaspora, and transracial social change to support movements of antiracist, anticolonial resistance across the United States and beyond.
