Pàdruig Morrison is a musician and composer from Grimsay, Uist. He is currently undertaking a PhD in Composition looking at traditional influences in Scottish contemporary music. He performs with Beinn Lee, and was a 2020 BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year Finalist, as writing music for the Hebrides Ensemble, Red Note Ensemble, and with members of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. He is also a crofter and does part-time heritage and oral history work on Grimsay.
