It’s such a good piece and the performance was outstanding. He deserved to be far higher up the bill because by the time he came on, the crowd had thinned out quite a lot. I would have loved to have seen him performing this to the full-strength crowd – in fact, it would have made a great opener to set the scene for the speeches that followed.
I hope it gets many airings over the next two years. It sums everything up so well.
