A Napster Moment for Politics?
Dougald Hine @dougald – lecture at Dalarna University.
We’re living in a web of crises, with no route back to the world in which we grew up….what we’re experiencing isn’t a problem that can be solved it’s a predicament …
Dougald Hine has been responsible for a series of projects aimed at rethinking how our society works and putting that thinking into practice. In 2006, he co-founded School of Everything, a web start-up inspired by the informal learning experiments of the 1960s and 70s. This was followed in 2009 by Space Makers, an agency that brings new life to underused spaces. Dougald’s other projects include Dark Mountain, a cultural movement for navigating an age of global disruption, and the New Public Thinking network, whose first book ‘Dispatches from the Invisible Revolution’ came out in 2012.
