Filth

The Playlist call it the the Welsh movie fans have been waiting for since 1996.”

James McAvoy leads the picture as Bruce Robertson, a sex-obsessed, cocaine-addicted, bigoted Scottish police officer who is supposed to be investigating a murder but gets sidetracked by his own various vices.

  1. Filth was the first book that I had ever read and said, that needs to be on the big screen…and now thankfully it is. Welsh is my all time favourite writer, the characters he creates are deeply disturbed and Robbo is the most disturbed of all. Never have I laughed whilst reading a book so much as I did with Filth.

I sincerely hope the movie does well and lives up to the book, unlike The Undefeated from Ecstasy, which was the biggest let down of the year. Rob Heydon did a very poor job.
