Celebrate Robert Burns

burns2014Yes Scotland will celebrate the life of Robert Burns on Friday 24th January 2014 in Edinburgh.

The fundraiser Gala Dinner will be held at The Hub venue on the Royal Mile, 7pm til midnight.
The contemporary Burns Supper will feature special performances from leading entertainers such as Elaine C Smith, actor David Hayman, hit list Author Alan Bissett, Cabinet Secretary for Culture and International Affairs Fiona Hyslop MSP and music from leading Scots singer / songwriter Emma Pollock and the Cairn String Quarter PLUS Highland dancers, a Piper and a special performance of ‘Tam O Shanter’ from Kevin Williamson and Craig Lithgow.

    That was an absolutely amazing evening, with the best ever rendition of Tam O’Shanter, I really could not fault one thing from the evening. Brilliant night, brilliant atmosphere, amazing fundraising event. I was sat with Blair Jenkins and he is so down to earth, onwards and upwards for the campaign and a YES vote on 18th September
