First class like it
It is brilliantly made, and I’m instinctively sympathetic towards it. But it is a video which is only aimed at making Labour sympathisers feel good, so it will not change any minds. There are a lot of things wrong with this: young woman simpering at older man? Cult of personality (put Nicola Sturgeon or Theresa May for Corbyn and see how it looks)? Corbyn presented as a 1970’s communist, stuck in the past? USSR references?
Of course it’s tongue in cheek, but it won’t change a single vote towards JC. The only people who will view it are the already interested in Labour, so if that’s what it’s for then it does its job. The few non-sympathetic who see it – even those on the right of Labour – will have their worst fears confirmed.
Now go vote SNP.
