Poem of the week : Marilyn
Marilyn
I have been lying here for daze now and I
am tired Tired of being
good and lying down
But I have to be here and
not move or else they might miss me
An end is near I think An
angel in a meat body has been floating behind my eye
I twitch Their toe tickles my optic nerve They
do not wish me harm Angels do not
sin Angels sing
but I can not hear them
I can not taste them I
am hungry for their touch But
not the whisper of a wing on my bare skin
The
devil and
I have kissed, you see so I
am no longer welcome I am
just here now
A horizontal thing
Small moments have passed through my
girl and
in to my woman and now
a kiss from the devil would suffice
Big moments have passed though my
world and I am
trying to refill the holes I am trying
to
find the moments and stuff them back in
Someone will come soon
to find me I would
love to be found
