Independence – Where Are We Now and Where Are We Going?

Independence – Where Are We Now and Where Are We Going? Is a recording of a live event from Govanhill Book Festival. Jim Monaghan hosts a panel discussion with Govanhill based activist and former SNP Cllr Austin Sheridan, Martha Wardrop of Scottish Greens, author and activist Julie Sherry (Breaking Up The British State) and Bella Caledonia founder Mike Small. The chat looks at the challenges for the indy movement, how we react to the current political situation, COP26 and the SNP/SGP among other issues.

The event is part of this year’s Govanhill International Festival and Carnival

Among my books is RETIRED TERRORIST, Trafford Publishing, in USA and Canada. I’ve unfortunately been “crook” in New Zealand for a few years since then (where a few of my books could be bought); I hope my health problems will not continual to limit my nationalism back there in freeing Scots again!
