Dougie features in this interview with Scots Whay Hae! about our anthology and is about to publish a new book The Bone Cave, a Journey through Myth and Memory published by Birlinn (available in October this year).

The Bone Cave is an account of a month-long journey by Dougie across the Scottish Highlands as he delves deep into folk tales and mythology. A thread running through the book is the tale of ‘The Cailleach and the Brown-eyed Hunter’ exploring how figures and ideas resonate and dwell through the landscape.
