Since 2007 we’ve published over 1400 writers across politics, arts and culture, reviews, economics, and media. Last year alone we published hundreds of new writers.

But we need to keep evolving and changing. That’s why we’re raising money to create a special ring-fenced fund for new writers under 30. Not just writers but content creators in video, audio, stories and reels. We need to cultivate and commission spaces for younger people to take part in our democratic and media revolution.

So we’re celebrating 20 years of work and planning the next 20 with a refresh and re-launch. To do that we are trying to raise £20,000 in 20 days.
