Alex Law

Alex Law is Professor of Sociology at Abertay University. He is currently working on the historical sociology of art and the civilising process, the first fruits of which will appear in The Anthem Companion to Norbert Elias (2023), and a study of the historical sociology of the civilising process, nation and state formation in Scotland (Routledge, 2024).
