Raghnaid Sandilands is a creative ethnologist, Gaelic translator, map maker and small press publisher based in Strathnairn on the south side of Loch Ness. She was involved in initiating the ‘Farr Conversations’ talk series in 2013 aiming to ‘oil the wheel of engagement with issues affecting Scotland by hosting lively nights in one Highland hall.’ She also runs the local Fèis Farr and is involved with Fearnag Growers – Lios na Feàrnaig, a community-run allotment project which offers talks and creative workshops for the local community.
