Raman Mundair

Raman Mundair is an Indian born, writer, artist, playwright and filmmaker. She identifies as a Queer, disabled, British Asian intersectional feminist and is an activist based in Shetland and Glasgow. She is the award winning author of Lovers, Liars, Conjurers and Thieves, A Choreographer’s Cartography, The Algebra of Freedom  and is the editor of Incoming: Some Shetland Voices. Her short film Trowie Buckie has been shortlisted for Sharp Shorts 2020. Mundair received the all3media scholarship to work with Peter Ansorge at the National Film and Television School on the craft of scriptwriting.
