Brilliant. These ads really are vacuous, well done on showing them up!

Who the hell are these deluded people, u-koks offspring?

For me it came down to two simple questions in the end. If the union is so successful what was it about a successful Scotland, that scared Labour and the Tories so much they would hide a report about that success? If we are better together, why lie?

if It was as successful as they claim, it would have been a self evident truth. Subsequently it would have been all but impossible for Salmond to attack it. He might have settled for devo-max at that point. Hell if it had been a self evident success, he might never have entered politics.

Waiting for a Unionist campaigner or no voter who could give me a credible answer to that question, turned out to be a fruitless endeavour. The lack of a credible answer and in fact the lack of any attempt to engage with me pushed me from No, Don’t know, then finally to Yes.

Lastly, if the lies fail and you are forced to invent a grass roots campaign that agrees with you…alarm bells should be ringing. We could still lose this to sheer apathy, the only credible defence of Union that remains, but I am equally convinced that the union is finished either way. Its simple a matter of when and how.
