So we’ve had some technical problems on the site in the last few weeks and we’re trying to get them all fixed. Worst of all was the site crashing but possibly second worst was no-one getting their email alerting them to a new post. Sorry about that. We’re trying to sack our hosts and have moved to a new server.
If you’re an existing subscriber you should be getting emails from us again. Can you let us know that you get this? Either by a comment below or by email?

Hi folks, I’m an existing subscriber who has missed the email alerts for the last few weeks and I emailed you about it (no reply received) when it started to occur. Also, some of the elements on the site had changed. But I got this post when I entered the site manually. I look forward to normal service resuming because I love the site even when I disagree with the content. Many thanks for the stimulating posts.

As far as I am aware, I pay a regular modest sum to Bella Caledonia by direct debit. I received the usual selection of items today.

Hi Kate – sorry about this, seems like some people are now back on and some not. Lack of email notifications (and all tech issues) are unrelated to site closure crisis. Thanks for getting back to me
