A Bella Caledonia Anthology
Next month we’ll be launching our anthology of some of the best writing we’ve published since 2007 including some key moments, viral blogs, and seminal essays. It feels important to take stock and reflect and collect – particularly at this time – and after a sort of frenetic and constant stream of publishing daily for (checks notes) fifteen years.
We’re delighted to be launching a Bella imprint with Leamington Books – which will allow us to do collaborative publishing work over the years ahead.
This is fourteen years of writing from an amazingly eclectic mix of writers including Peter Arnott; Alan Bissett; Stuart Christie; Neil Cooper; Alistair Davidson; Meaghan Delahunt; Chloé Farand; Katie Gallogly-Swan; George Gunn; Scott Hames; Gerry Hassan; Dougald Hine; Kathleen Jamie; Pat Kane; AL Kennedy; George Kerevan; Laura Cameron-Lewis; Abi Lightbody; Caitlin Logan; Iain Mackinnon; Max Macleod; Jamie Maxwell; Cáit O’Neill McCullagh; Mairi McFadyen; Alastair McIntosh; Raman Mundair; Alison Phipps; Brian Quail; Adam Ramsay; George Rosie; Rory Scothorne; Amna Saleem; Christopher Silver; Claire Squires; Dougie Strang; Paul Tritschler; Irvine Welsh; Andy Wightman.
Details about our launch events soon.

Hello Mike,
Just a query. I did order a copy of the anthology. I would have ordered a few but it seems that would entail separate orders attracting a hefty P&P each time? It should be possible to order multiple copies and incur one postage charge as other suppliers do?
Hi Jean – thanks for the query – I am talking to the publisher and will get back to you to sort this out and find a solution asap.
Best, Mike
