Follow the Money, America’s Police State
I have some real problems and questions about Ezra Klein, which we’ll get into later, but I also think it’s interesting seeing more centrist voices getting up to speed, and I also think it’s sometimes useful to bring people on board with the new reality, if the voice they hear isn’t what they would define as ‘ideological’.
Here then:

Erza has lacked backbone in the past and has given the Democrats too much of an easy ride. I think the centrists will be on board with condemning what’s going on anyway, but the “moderate right” need to get on side and start coming together with the rest who are taking to the streets to protest. Trumps base won’t be likely to shift in high numbers. Even if he just retains his base, it won’t be enough to win him the mid-terms? But then maybe Trump knows this and will move towards martial law so he can postpone.
