John Curtice: A full breakdown of Scottish Parliament election polls

Here, John Curtis breaks down the state of the parties in a non-partisan way. The latest Holyrood seat projection based on @LordAPolls polling shows a huge pro-indy majority.

He talks about the fragmentation of the Unionist vote and (at about 12.23) he talks about the negativity and lack of vision from their messaging, which is at the heart of their campaign problems. “Vote for us because that lot are useless” is his summary of the Sarwar campaign.

At what point will the MSM everr say a vote for SNP on the list is a waste of time? Clearly as unionists or in biased MSM it is not in their interest to say so. but it is a key fact in this election that if SNP pulled their list candidates then there would be well over a 2/3rds majority for pro indy legislation. should the Greens hoover up around 30% of the vote. If the genuine aim was independence they would do it. Might cost them one seat and win a mnadte. Why does nobody mention this as so bleeding obvious? With a 25% lead on constituency votes this would be a great lever to pull in mid April and would cause chaos at WM. Denmark has an election tonight with 12 parties all worling together for an outcome. Is this so hard on an issue claimed to still be the raison d’etre of the SNP?
