Brilliantly written and equally brilliantly performed. Thank you for this gem.
In your face and so true.
“You made me a refugee where I was born”
Chilling, emotive, passionate. I can personally imagine what it was like now to be of the Jewish faith or even a Social Democrat and waking up one morning in 1930’s Germany to find that your country, the country you were born, brought up and educated in had changed into a place of uncertainty, fear, suspicion and lies. And that was before the horrors of the future to come…
Now I know I’m leaving myself open to all sorts of folk screaming ‘There’s no comparison!’ or ‘Fear mongerer’. But the simple fact that I DO feel like that make s me feart in my soul.
Genius
Moving, thank you for sharing. Brilliantly performed
